Garden Sprouts @ Frelinghuysen Arboretum

Wednesday, October 11: Tiny Treasures – There are many big trees in the garden – but what about the tiny sprouts? Garden Sprouts will use magnifying glasses to find the smallest plants.
Wednesday, October 25: Pumpkin Party – Who doesn’t like pumpkins? Just in time for the end of the spooky season, Garden Sprouts and their adult companion will see how pumpkins grow. Take home your very own decoupaged pumpkin.
Wednesday, November 8: Lovely Leaves – Sprouts will look for the fallen leaves and see how many different colors they can find. Take home a lantern made with dried leaves from the gardens. ($15 per child with an adult.)
Saturday, December 9: Snowy Story Time at the Festival of Trees – Perfect for our families with early risers, wake up and enjoy a peaceful early morning story time with your child. Introduce your child to a lifetime love of reading surrounded by the warmth of the Festival of Trees. This program is located in the Mansion. (9 am – 9:30 am)
Wednesday, December 13: Snowy Story Time at the Festival of Trees – Introduce your child to a lifetime love of reading with our story time sessions! Enjoy story time with your child, surrounded by the warmth of the Festival of Trees. This program is located in the Mansion.
