Meet Anne Ferrante of Kienlen Lattmann Sotheby’s International Realty! | Morris Bernards Moms

Where are you from originally and how long have you lived in town?
I lived in Bergen County (Englewood) from ages 4-13, then moved to Chatham (and went to Chatham High School). My husband grew up in Bernardsville so it was destined to happen – we moved to town in 2011.

Child(ren) and Age(s)?
One son, Alex, aged 15, is a sophomore at BHS. Boy-girl twins, who just turned 13 on October 10th.

Are you involved in a business venture or corporate world? Please Share!
I am a full time Realtor with Kienlen Lattmann Sotheby’s International Realty and very active in the Bernardsville Middle School Home & School Association, but no more corporate world for me.

When did you decide you wanted to be a Realtor?
I love people and I had always been interested in homes – from our area’s amazing historic homes to newer construction or home renovations. When I was on maternity leave after having the twins it was the perfect time to go to real estate school and get my license. I’ve been selling homes ever since! This job is a match made in heaven for me. I get to meet all kinds of new people from all areas and tell them why this is the best place to live!

If you could give one tip to fellow Mom Entrepreneurs what would it be?
Stay focused. It’s so hard to prioritize between work and kids when running your own business. I’ve started time blocking my schedule so I’m very productive with work while also building time into my daily schedule to be with my family.

One thing people would be surprised to know about you…
I have been snowboarding since I was 17.
