Anyone special you’d like to thank for helping you through parenthood?
It takes a village to be a mom AND an entrepreneur! Our husbands are our rock. Without
them, we would never have had the ability to start our business. We also would never
have met if it weren’t for them. They have been friends since Kindergarten!
Favorite things to do with your kids?
It sounds simple, but one of our favorite things is to stay in our jammies and make a big
breakfast. On our days off with our kids, that’s where you’ll find us! Sometimes the most
fulfilling quality time is effortless.
Are you involved in a business venture, a local organization, a creative endeavor, or in the
corporate world? Please share!
Fish.Eye Design is a local creative business. We’re a food photographer and food stylist team. We
are hired by businesses looking to elevate their food photography for social media,
marketing, print, or various campaigns. We have had the privilege of shooting at
restaurants, photographing a cookbook, and working with large-scale corporations to
develop recipes and create beautiful imagery for their products.
How has this community been instrumental in getting you to where you are now?
We love our community! Word of mouth has been an amazing tool for us. We have
developed relationships with others working in the food industry locally, which has
helped develop our business more rapidly. We also love to support other local food
businesses! We purchase a lot of the food for our shoots at our local farms, butchers,
and specialty stores in town whenever possible.
