Meet Dr. Christina Klausner of Mobile Physical Therapy! | Morris Bernards Moms

Where are you from originally and how long have you lived in the area?
I lived in Hungary for 5 years of my life as a child and moved to Wayne, NJ at the age of 7. I moved to Mendham in 2014.

Child(ren) and Age(s)?
I have three children: Jamie 7, Jackie 5, Bryce 3

Are you involved in a business venture or corporate world? Please Share!
I own Mobile Physical Therapy LLC, A Physical Therapy & Holistic Healing Practice focused on pelvic floor physical therapy for women and children. I opened my practice on 08/20/20 during the pandemic, when I was a mom at home with three little ones under the age of 4. The practice started as a mobile service to ease the anxiety of exposure and scheduling to heal mothers while their little ones were protected during the pandemic. The business grew quickly and I opened an in office location in September of 2022 in my hometown of Mendham. We use a full body approach to resolving all pelvic dysfunctions, with our goal of providing you the best individualized care possible.

When did you decide you wanted to open your own Physical Therapy Practice?
During the pandemic, when I quickly realized other moms needed help and were not able to get into an office.

Has helping people, especially women, with pelvic floor issues always been a part of your life?
No, it started when I had experienced three vastly different labor and deliveries and three drastically different recoveries. I needed to find answers on how I could have eased my journey and allow me to feel like me again. When I asked these questions, I knew I had to help other mothers too.

What do you recommend for someone looking to get started with PT?
Trust your intuition, ask questions and advocate for yourself. Pelvic Physical therapy is unlike any other form of therapy, it encompasses healing a whole and to allow a mother to continue to thrive as her life evolves.

If you could give one tip to fellow Mom Entrepreneurs what would it be?
Speak to other moms who are in a similar place in life and how they find a balance between working and home life. Sharing journeys and stories is so valuable in achieving the success you see for yourself.
