Where are you from originally and how long have you lived in town?
I am originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. I moved to the US in 2007 and have been living in Mendham since then, after a short period in Long Branch then Whippany while I had not yet found a place to live (I was an IT consultant then and stayed in hotels).

Favorite things to do with your kids?
My favorite activities with him are playing cards (or other board games), watching movies and listening to music (we both love The Beatles!). He has recently taught me a few card games (like Gin Rummy) and loves doing magic card tricks. Going out for nature walks, and in the future we plan traveling together more – he wants to visit Rome and I wouldn’t mind going back to Italy!

If you could give one tip to fellow Mom Entrepreneurs what would it be?
Get to know yourself, so you can define your personal goals and dreams and develop a plan to achieve them. One of the three biggest regrets people at the end of their lives have is to not have followed their dreams. Putting yourself first is not being selfish: you will have so much more to give others when you’re aligned with your life purpose. Don’t neglect your dreams. The world needs what you have to offer. Everyone has special gifts that need to be shared with the world!
One thing people would be surprised to know about you…
I love singing in karaokes! Lol When I lived in NYC I used to go to SingSing every weekend and sing my heart out to Mariah Carey and Alanis Morissette, and until the pandemic hit I went to Publick House’s karaoke. That’s on pause for now so only singing in the shower till we can go back…
How has this community been instrumental in getting you to where you are now?
When I first saw the Mendham Moms website, I remember thinking to myself: this is genius, why haven’t I thought of doing this? Lol. I always had this desire to have my own business but took a long time to uncover what type of business I wanted to be in. So I dug deeper and decided to explore what I should be doing instead. With some help and after a lot of soul searching, Blissful Road was born!
