Where are you from originally and how long have you lived in town?
I moved to Mendham in 1971 and went to Hilltop School, Mountain View School and Mendham High School. After attending college and graduate school, my husband and I moved (back) to Mendham and raised our 2 boys there from 2001-2021.

I am the owner of In Motion Dance Studio, serving Mendham, Chester, Long Valley, Randolph and the surrounding areas. In Motion provides quality dance instruction in Ballet, Modern, Tap, Hip-hop, and Theater Dance with highly trained and educated faculty. We provide a safe, healthy, nurturing and fun atmosphere. Our performance opportunities are outstanding: we perform locally at theaters, outdoor spaces, as well as in NYC: Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, Ailey Citigroup Theater, and Washington D.C. We performed in London during the 2012 Olympics. We value each student and create an environment which fosters creativity, sel-esteem and higher order thinking skills.
When did you decide you wanted to be a dance teacher?
When I was in Highschool. I began dancing at age 3 and taught my first class in Highschool. I decided then that I loved teaching.

Run your business with integrity, honesty, and kindness.
One thing people would be surprised to know about you…
I taught dance in Istanbul, Turkey for one year.
