Where are you from originally and how long have you lived in the area?
I’m originally from Portugal. I moved to the US when I was 2 years old. I’ve been living in Bridgewater for 2 years now.

I’m a certified pediatric sleep consultant and founder of Dreaming of Lulubies.
When did you decide you wanted to become a sleep consultant?
My son Gabriel was my biggest inspiration to becoming a sleep consultant. I found myself struggling. He was fussy and cranky all the time. Have you ever heard the phrase sleep like a baby? This baby didn’t sleep, which means I didn’t sleep either. This was not what I expected motherhood to look like! But as someone with a strong meditation practice, I wanted to believe that the universe had given me Gabriel, in particular, for a bigger purpose.
Have babies and helping new moms always been a part of your life?
No, I never thought in a million years that I would be working with babies and/or moms! I have to say it’s been the best experience of my life! Absolutely LOVE working with new moms, especially first-time moms!
If you could give one tip to fellow Mom Entrepreneurs what would it be?
Acknowledge your strength. Women possess unbelievable inner strength. When you become a mother, that strength becomes otherworldly. Everything changes. Your why changes. As we become newly cognizant, our entire awareness of the world changes. We are hyper-aware of how we interact with the world, and how it affects our children. Our understanding gives us strength, and that strength is superhuman.
