Where are you from originally and how long have you lived in the area?
I grew up in the Washington, DC suburbs and have been in New Jersey since 1997.

I have one daughter who is 28.
When did you decide you wanted to open your own Stationary Shop?
I sort of fell into owning the shop (gift and stationery). After careers in advertising and interior decorating, I took a part time job with the previous owner, and purchased Cambridge Street from her in 2017.
Has invitations and personalized gifts always been a part of your life?
I joke that “making things pretty” is my superpower. I love the process of creating beautiful things…and that includes invitations, stationery, putting together the perfect gift for someone and the displays in the shop.
What is your favorite part about owning a shop in the heart of Madison?
I love being part of the Madison community. It is a small town with a huge heart, and I am so lucky to have the support of the residents of Madison and the surrounding towns.
If you could give one tip to fellow Mom Entrepreneurs what would it be?
My tip…hire people you love being around and who share your vision for the business.

People may be surprised to know…after a drink or two, I love karaoke!
