Spring into Action for Grow it Green Morristown! | Morris Bernards Moms

Did you know that Morristown is home to an Urban Farm that helps thousands of children connect to nature and the joy of growing and enjoying vegetables through hands-on learning experiences, donates thousands of pounds of local produce each year to those in need, and offers fresh food throughout the year with a Winter Market and seasonal farm stand?

Nonprofit Grow It Green Morristown (GIGM), now in its 14th year, continues to promote health and strengthen our diverse community through urban agriculture, extensive education offerings, and equitable food access. Each year, the organization holds one major fundraiser to support its programs. This year’s Spring into Action fundraiser will be on Monday, May 1 at 5:30 pm at Glenbrook Brewery. Event highlights include light appetizers, snacks, and dessert using farm ingredients; beer and wine; and a Silent Auction with unique experiences you won’t find anywhere else, including:

Curated day in Mendham – 4 tickets to Mansion in May followed by a private tour of the 200-year-old Big Green Barn, loaded with vintage home decor. This is a private experience, where the editors of House Beautiful magazine do their own shopping, hosted by owner Susan Brierly Bush, NJ Monthly’s home & style editor. You and your friends will leave there with a special gift – a seasonal floral bouquet from Mendham’s own private floral studio, The Lillie House, and head to the Black Horse Pub for a late lunch or happy hour!

ESO Artisanal Pasta Secret Dinner – 4-courses of stunning, farm-fresh cuisine and pasta, hosted at one of Morristown’s surviving Gilded Age mansions

Pizza Truck Party for 50 – Your guests will love it and so will you!

A family day in Battery Park, featuring 6 tickets to the very special SeaHorse Carousel, lunch, and a tour of the Urban Battery Conservancy Farm!

Camps, sports training, fitness packages, and more!
